Fish Northern Manitoba
Experience World Class Fly-In Fishing at a Wilderness Outpost Camp
Located in the heart of Manitoba's wilderness where no roads, towns, or any other person has access, these outpost camps offer world class fishing for northern pike and walleye, but anglers will also encounter sauger, perch, goldeye and crappie as well. Outstanding fishing at a very affordable price.
The elevation drops 300 feet through this area, which is about 2 feet per mile. This creates large lake areas along the river system, with numerous rapids and waterfalls..excellent feeding areas for the big aggressive Northerns and walleye. This river and lake system also insures that you will never experience being stuck in the cabin and a wasted day due to the wind, as you can always find a calm spot to tuck into. Also, and this is a BIG PLUS , fish in the cold currents do not shut down during cold fronts and the fishing remains great even in the months of July and August when other areas experience a sharp decline in fish activity.
These are unsophisticated fish and a large tackle box is not required. You will find that basic walleye and Northern pike tackle is all that is required. Large spoons like the Red Daredevil and Five of Diamonds, a few crank baits, jigs and twister tails, a few minnows...these fish are not hard to please.
The remote fly-in fishing cabins are clean and comfortable and fully equipped with everything you will need to enjoy your fishing vacation .
