British Columbia Mountain Grizzly Hunt

10 Day Spring / Fall Grizzly Hunt in Northern British Columbia

These grizzly hunts are conducted in a remote mountainous area of northern British Columbia. There are a limited number of tags available and this outfitter can boast a 100% success rate in 2005. The spring grizzly season runs from April 15th to June 15th and the fall season is from August 15th to November 15th. The outfitter does not have predetermined hunt dates during the spring season and prefers to work with each individual hunter to establish the best time for their grizzly hunt.

Hunts are conducted by ATV or on horseback, depending on the area being hunted and the hunter's preferences. All grizzly hunts are one hunter per guide to maximize your chances at taking one of these big colorful bears.

If you are flying, your destination is Fort St. John, B.C., where you will be met by a company representative. If you drive, you will be met in Hudson Hope, B.C. Bear hunts are conducted from base camps and various spike camps. Base camps offer comfortable and well equipped cabins with foamies, heaters and a cook. Spike camps will have wall tents with heaters. Hunters will be teamed up with a licensed professional guide who knows the area and the game.

The hunt includes:
